My boss (a vet) frequently deals with fish. Unfortunately it is nearly impossible to suture up a scaled fish so we have always resorted to superglue. Now there is bio bandage by Hakari. It stays on and does not pull at delicate skin. You can even spread it out with your fingers to treat fin rot. Amazing stuff.

Could you use it on a fish that has been "de-scaled" by another fish? I have a had a couple fish get really beat up, and once you see a lot of the white flesh under the scales it is almost impossible to save them, but maybe if you could cover over it before it got infected...
