Hikari Carnivore Pellets

Why are these so much more expensive than the other Hikari food products? Is it the same as this for everyone else in their area?

at petco and LFS the 2.6 ounce bags are $11. go to http://www.thatpetplace.com/ and the Hikari sinking carnivore pellets are half the price, about $6 a bag. buy it in bulk and save even more!

if my math is correct i pay around $1.50 an ounce in 1 kg bags

well.... that sucks for me i guess. i dont do the Kg or metric stuff. I do, however, know that hikari pellets are Flippin' expensive.

All I know is that most of their products like cichlid gold cost around $14 for me but the carnivore sinking pellets cost something like $24.

They are expensive and when you've got a big fish to feed you need a lot of pellets.

they are expensive, and I have been trying for 10 days to get my sharks to eat something besides those, to no avail. I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet nad feed them the pellets, they go mad over them, it's worth $11 a bag to keep your fish healthy if they refuse to eat something else, and also, I have seen excellet growth with everything that I feed them to.
