Ok so I have this food and on the packaging there's a red and black fish I'm prettty sure it's an Oscar. But I haven't seen one like that. Do you think they added red just to make I look better?? Or is that not an Oscar. ????

. google it.There are three variation of Oscar
Tiger Oscar (Blk and red/orange spot)
Albino Oscar
Red Oscar (Sometimes Albino Red)
The oscar in the Hikari Cichlid Gold is a Red Oscar (Red bag)
The oscar in the Hikari Cichlid Gold (Sinking) is an albino Red oscar (Blue bag)
So ya.. they do get that red if its a Red Oscar, most Oscars are Tiger so they dont get as red...
Red arent very common so its harder to find.. but it does pop up in LFS..

yes indeed they can get pretty red. my tiger oscar is really red lol petsmart usually has a lot of red oscars and albino reds.
