I am currently feeding my red tiger motaguense hikari massivore and I was wondering if it is a good staple pellet for my mota. He was on NLS pellets but my brother fed him worms so he didnt want to eat anything at all besides worms so one day I threw in massivore for my bichirs to eat and the mota went nuts for the massivore. I am trying to get him back onto nls but I figured if massivore is a good food for my mota then it wouldnt hurt to feed massivore. Let me know. Thanks. :)

thats what i feed mine they love it that an hakari food sticks but try to switch it up every once a while with worms pelets frozen shrimp crickets youll grow him into a beast

does massivore stink up your water/ house?

I tried it a few different times, do 50% weekly changes and it still would stink my whole house up. It was akin to the smell of baitfish left in a live well/ bucket on a hot day.

It does not stink up my entire house, but I can sure smell it in the room when I am feeding the fish. The smell goes away after a few minutes. I have never noticed the smell in the tanks or water.

Def makes the room smell after a heavy feeding to my rays. I tell my wife not to feed the fish and once in a blue moon i come home and i can smell it but she still trys to deny it, haha... try mixing in some fresh market shrimp/tilapia as massivore can become quit expensive.

I have been feeding it to my Dovii 3 days a week for the past month or so. I did the monthly cleaning where I take the big rocks out and vacuum the entire tank Sat......it did stink up the room more then usual. I didn't think about it then but I think it is the Massivore. I don't really notice it when I am feeding them though.

Mine only stink when I open it, it kind of lingers a bit but then goes away.
