How do you get your fish to eat these? I've had all my snakeheads on them before but my recent fish (Channa Andrao) won't eat them, she eats bloodworms that's about it?

Any advice would be great, thanks.

When I got my goonch Bagarius rutilus, the previous owner who was an Importer only fed live foods. I Starved him for two weeks once I had him home. No food whatsoever just my normal routine for all the other fish. When I tried to feed him massivore a couple days ago he ate like a pig, swooping up any pellets that got near him.

To transition mine off of bloodworms, I thaw the bw cubes and then put crushed massivore powder in the bw slurry and re freeze it. Try this for two or three weeks or so and then starve them for amfew days before you transition to only massivore.

That's a really good idea!!

I'll try not feeding for a few days if that doesn't work then that surely will.

Thanks!

Subtropical Channa can go a long time without food. During the winter months, C. Andrao should only be fed once every 7-10 days in my opinion. Even in the summer months, I only feed mine 2-3 times per week.
I feed mostly insects, occasional NLS pellets, and live baby crayfish. Blood worms are a poor food option, but they can get everything they need from a varied diet of gut loaded insects, and other aquatic animals. Of course, adding pellets into their diet is not a bad idea.
If you're adamant about getting them to eat pellets, then the best method would be to starve them as others have suggested. I'm not sure what the temperature of your tank is, but mine is around 17C right now. At this temperature, I would offer pellets after one week without food. if they don't accept them, you can try again after another few days or so. Make sure that uneaten pellets aren't fouling your water.
Good luck.

+1, to bottle post

Starve if needed to convert , most "picky channa" are just over fed and only eating the things they can't resist out if greed lol.

As mentioned watch not to over feed . I also offer food 2-3 times a week in summers less then once a week in winters regardless of their apparent appetite.

Some of my channa hold the apittite in the winter and eat anything offered any time some of mine won't eat more then once a month if I'm lucky. Either way though once a week is all they get I found indulging the ones who want more in the winters just led to obesity issues.
