not sure if any of you remember but i made a thread about my jags not wanting to eat anything but earthworms or frozen bloodworms... but long story short my lfs's didnt carry the massivore that i wanted to get them on, so i ordered it off big als and it will be here thursday. but my fish have actually been starting to love hikari sinking carnivore pellets since i have been starving them onto it and i wanted to see what you guys opininons on this stuff was... i think im gonna finish feeding them the bag of this before i make the switch to massivore is this a good staple pellet?

Variety is always best because who really knows what's best for the fish. If your fish are taking pellets, great! Switching it up is good. Throwing some earthworms in every so often is good too. Massivor is definitely a good staple but it's expensive. If you got them liking another type of pellet and it's cheaper I would use that.

Yea I got these for my male convict. He won't eat any other food at all. They are the same as Massivore, just smaller. My convict eagerly accepts these, I would assume they're fine as a staple.

i like how they keep their shape even when they get water logged.. and they dont blow apart like some other pellets they stay spongy i like that. and 47% protein is huge

i dont like floating pellets because i feel like they are so light and have nothing to them... carnivore and massivore are big heavy pellets and when you see your fish with a full belly of them you know they are full. i know its not true but i just feel like floating pellets have the consistency of like popcorn lol
