Anyone have fish with a preference for certain pellets? Once I started them with Hikari there's no going back...Bio Gold, Herbivore, Parrot Red...my fish don't care as long as its Hikari! Now they won't eat much of any other pellet I have (except the Bug Bites). I soak the pellets and they totally inhale them like vaccum cleaners, it's crazy. They like the Cichlid Crisps as well but it takes a lot of that to fill them up. Guess its a good problem to have!

Not even thinking about the carnivore...these fatties are thick enough!

Back when I had Toni she would only eat Carnisticks as far as pellets go. I tried other foods, and even soaking the food in blood worm juice. No go, would chew it a bit put spit it out in the end.

My GT refuses anything that isn't NLS thera+a or algaemax wafers that I give my pleco. She refused the NLS cichlid formula, won't eat frozen brine shrimp, isn't too keen on bloodworms... She's the most fussy fish I've ever owned. :swear:

I can certainly attest to my fish and their near addiction to Massavore. When I run out of the stuff they don't want the foods that I do have on hand and it takes a few days for them to come around.

Yeah my fish pound Massivore and Carnivore pellets even though I prefer they eat more nutritious foods like frozen, NLS, Repashy and such. Not sure what Hikari puts in them but I always have some on hand in case I get a finicky new fish. They rarely refuse the stuff

I can attest to my Berdamorei loaches love of massivour pellets. Drop in a small handfull into their tank and the clicking starts, a few minutes later the water is nice and murky!!!

And my Africans are fed almost exclusivly on Chiclid Excell.
