Today i was working at my LFS and i had to move a 18" GG from a 4x3 tank thats raised up, into a 7x2x2. So i got up on my ladders and using my 24x24 Koi net i got him into it easily enough but as i pulled it up and put of the tank he splashed and i got drenged, all wet me T-shirt was soaking, i could hardly see as my glasses had water droplets. My Boss and his missis were laughing their heads off.

So i had to walk down the ladders with this massive and heavy ifhs moving all over and as i got it into the tank it splashed again and i got even wetter, there was water every where. My lovely white Linkin Park t-shirt is now grey LOL

I just experienced that last night at home moving my 14" Weeksi to another tank. LOL I would rather be splashed knowing I have a monster than stay dry with a with a little wimpy fish.

i had to do that with pacus...woo!

i had experienced that before, with moving jags and oscars.

a little bit off topic, but its funny. i was working at my lfs, and i was cleaning out the bottom tank and filter on the floor, with the gravel vaccume and a bucket, the bucket was full, and i was ready to go and tip it out when my supervisor told me to clean the filter on the top tank strait away, so i got the step ladder and got the filter out, and as i was stepping down i stepped right into the filthy dirty (brownish)water and my leg and shoes were soaked, everybody just craked up laughing (including me), and to make it worse the manager that was shifted on that day just came up to see me do it, so he was laughing at me 2. and from then on i got called bucket boy for the rest of the day.
but i could have sworn the bucket was next to the stool not behind it!,stupid work mates and there jokes ! lol

Koi especially large ones are annoying to catch as they splash water all over the place, when I caught out a 35cm or so one yesterday for a customer it jumped out of the net and went between the tanks into the sump filter, fun getting it back out of the filter and into a bag.

Tinfoil Barbs are probably the worst that I have ever experienced. Water gets EVERYWHERE, on the wall, on the tank, on the floor, on me, the TV, everything. They're just a pain, and they're so strong too.
