Nice set up,but if you dont mind me saying these newts are mostly terrestrial and dont really require water in their pen unless you have a proven pair and intend to breed them.You can do away with the swimming area and have less work on your hands.Mandarin newts are my favorites but they are hard to come by around here,what was the price of them if you dont mind?
