All 3 of these rays arrived last night. So far so good. One of the rays thrashed pretty good and there was barely enough water in the bag to cover her body and I thought she was dead, but amazingly enough, she is doing ok right now. She ate shrimp last night so that encourages me. The male and the other female are doing good too. Thanks to Pat at amazon stingrays for shipping these to Todd and I. They were packed well and the water was not very cold when we got them. Thanks to Colin too for trusting me with his prized histrix rays. More updates to come. Hopefully we'll get some pups from them sometime soon after they get used to their new surroundings. Enjoy some pictures.

You have some really ILL LOOKING RAYS! Theyre awesome!! I love there patterns.

And was the shrimp peeled?? i didnt see any shell on it right?
 
That is looking great bro! Glad the rays went to someone who posts here, I love updates on these. Are you going to try and breed them??? :)

They look great. I know that you will take good care of them. In the future it would be nice to see the market full of captive bred histrix. They are the best stingray for the average hobbyist, hands down.

I want to thank Pat at amazonstingrays.com for packing these up for the long trip. He did an amazing job.

For anyone that is not familiar with Pat or his rays, you need to check him out. His setups are huge and he is pumping out the pups. I saw 20 perfect pups when I was there. His rays are huge and the silver aros he has with them are a sight to see.
