In front of my tanks
yesturday i was working in my tank and one of my occelaris slammed into the heater ever since then it doesn't act norm it sits at the bottom of the tank then if it gets scared it swims franticly around until it goes into convulsions and basicly dies it stops breathing and everthing it takes a few minutes then it gets up and sits around again is there anything i can do to save it

I had the same with one of my Myleus, he jumped out of the water and hit the top of the tank. It took him a few days to act normal, I don't think there's much you can do but wait. I think he had some kind of brainconcussion.
Any visible wounds?

You'll just have to wait and see. Could be possible that he doesn't eat for a few days. Try not ot scare him to much, just do the things you need to do. As I told he can have some concussion or internal bruises, I don't think you can give him medication on this. My myleus took over a week to act normal. He was also on his side, almost stopped breathing and started swimming again like he was drunk.
 
I have lost several orinos due to them getting hit in the head or them hitting it themselves. There isn't much you can do. Just hope they pull through....
 
You just don't have to slow down a whole lot to keep from running into a clear piece of glass in the middle of the river.:ROFL:
All of my pbass, and my aros have smashed into the tank somewhere or another, and knocked themselves silly for a few days. Most of the time they were fine, on very few occasions did they ended up dying.
In fact, I only lost two fish since I started keeping them, to some accident like this. Both were when I was keeping aros and red tail cats in the same tank.(Oooops!!!, hey, I didn't know.)

well it went :nilly: as i walked by the tank jumped out the rear and landed on the hardwood floor it didn't wake up after that rip:cry:
 
that sucks dude. sorry bout that. did you try turning the lights off and just let it try get back to normal
