Tank info:
65 gallons
Lightly planted
Running for 4 years
Temp is 80f
Test results from api master test kit
0 Nitrites, 0 Ammonia, 10-20 Nitrates 8 ph
Tank mates:
1 juvenile parrot hybrid
3 polar blue parrots
2 horseface loaches
2 yoyo loaches.

From mid April to early June I was unable to change the water due to issues with my well Nitrates got up to about 40ppm before the well was fixed and I could change the water. There were no deaths in the tank however my 3yr old blood parrot developed a mild fungus issue and what now appears to be hith.

After 5 days of treating with Kordon malachite green the fungus seemed to be gone and I thought the one visible pit was part of the fungus at the time.
After being returned to the main tank for a week another pit has formed and the fungus seems to be coming back.

The fish is currently in a 5g hospital tank starting another round of malachite green. I'm located in Canada so actual meds are hard to come by. I've read that Epsom salt can help, would I put it directly into the hospital tank? If so how much per gallon?

Any advice is much appreciated.

At this point not sure if it’s gonna get worse since the lack of water changes caused it and corrected. Hopefully with the water changes it should get better. Clean water and a good varied diet.
