Hello, so I picked up the below Atabapo Red pile cichlid from my Lfs a few days ago. They said it had a mild dose of hole in the head but Was otherwise fine, so I bought it. I know I probably shouldn't have but pike cichlids are very hard to find in my area and decent sized specimens are Very hard to find... So I took the chance. The shop said lots of water changes and good food should sort him out. First off is this true? Second I do 2x 40% water changes on the tank a week and feed mussels, prawn, feeder shrimp, fresh fish meat and live crabs.. Is this okay?
Thanks
