Got a planted 20 breeder with a couple nerite snails and a juvie bristlenose. What should I add...I do not have a top just a light.

Maybe get a pair convicts around 2 inches. Watch them breed. Its cool to watch their parenting.

My pair of convicts ate my midnight catfish's eyes and beat it up really bad in only a few hours.

I agree with adding convicts, but you want to have another home for the pleco.
