I just did my water change a few days ago, and today I added new filter carbon and that white stuff (Dunno What's it's Called). My Oscars stopped eating shortly after the filter maintenance; though my tiger doesn't eat that much anyways. My albino is usually a freaking pig; he devours anything as soon as it hits the water. But even he is not acting normal, feeding wise. My other fish are all eating; they are in the same tank (TFB's and Pike)

About to go buy a test kit, will post the results when I get it.

for oscars you got to watch what they eat as they will eat anything and can easly catch swim bladder disease i suggest feeding them just pellets for a while and no brine shrimp for a week if your feeding them that also add aquarium salt or epson salt when you do a water change this helps oscars heal wounds and help them crap out the dinner easier .When oscar dont eat theres allways something wrong as they eat like a BEAST:popcorn:

I feed them, Kryll, Hikari Gold, Cichlid Sticks and Earth Worms... It's the only stuff they accept besides feeders, which I rarely give them. I add salt when I change the water, so it's already in there. Thanks for the info though, there's a good chance they are being ignorant, cause I gave them a treat yesterday.

i would just give it a few days he will more than likely eat soon. just feed him the pellets and nothing else. Im starting to think that albinos are worst out of all oscars about eating so much. my bashs its head off the lid and sticks his whole head out of the water and bites my finger just because he thinks its food. their such a pig, i get wet everytime i feed them.

its actually normal for oscars to stop eating for several days and then eat like pigs mine do it all the time, to control this feed them every 2-3 days and everyday just feed them a guppy or to thts wht works for me

I'd test for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate readings. If ammonia or nitrite are zero, or nitrate above 40, you've probably found your cause. Everyone's right -- it is normal for Oscars to go off of their food, and sulk, but it would be best to rule out water quality also. Also, keep an eye on their poop. If it turns white and stringy, their problem is likely a parasite from the feeders. It's really best not to feed feeders.

Yup to this...

Check the quality of the water to be safe.

I checked my water; it's fine. Nothing seems abnormal about their poop, and they ate a few pellets tonight and an earth worm. They may have just been upset; I added a new tank mate (Pike), then they started sulking. Plus I changed the tank around a bit, they don't seem to like that for some reason.
