My LFS has this Polypterus ornatipinnis for £25 that I am very intersted in.

Its 7inches right now and alone in the tank.

Doesn't have a broad anal fin - female?

What do you guys think of the quality

I can see. The fin is on the back off it's tale, wich isn't showing in the pic.

See diagrams of fins and sexual differences in the anal fin at 7" the sexual dimorphism might not be evident yet in ornates but if you like it get it the price seems right-Anne

maN get it, down here in the N.O. a 3-4" ornate is going for $40, so buy it quick and you will love it for a long time.
