About two weeks ago, someone posted a thread about accuracy of information in pet stores. Their goal was to petition Petsmart to change their signage so that they were correct for people that wanted to get fish at Petsmart. Well, I know the signage isn't the greatest, but that is why people like Miles and myself work very hard to educate our coworkers and customers on responsible fishkeeping. Tonight, while surfing Drs. Foster and Smith I noticed that their information was way off on their information tags. Personally, this is worse than at Petsmart. At Petstmart (or any place) you can ask questions, get answers, come back with more questions, and they can even refuse to sell you the fish if they feel that you should not have it. However, Drs. Foster and Smith has incorrect information, no one to answer questions, and the person making the final decision on fish is the CONSUMER. This all goes back to consumer responsibility. For less than 100 dollars I could have charged and ordered a species of salt water ray or a cat shark. This is not good for our hobby, I am not saying that we should boycott them or anything, but maybe we should write letters to them as well.
