Magic Place Of Wonders And Delights
I was wondering how expensive this hobby is of course i only have the one tank and is it really that expensive.
Because if i get this baker job and it works out for at least 4 months i want to move out of my house i can't stand my home anymore so much for home sweet home are family is ok but god i am the odd one out. Like my step dad is cool but not very caring because of his past my mum is just such a angry person because of her past. My sis i do my best to get along with her but just such differnt people at times they are the best but lately my family is a drag so yer how expensive is this hobby really?.

P.S i had to talk to someone about this and MFK is the best place to vent:D

I don't think it's such an expensive hobby... with the exception of occasionally upgrading to a bigger tank, your expense will mostly come from fish food and electricity. Which shouldn't be that bad.

It's nothing compared to living on your own though. If you want to move out, then that's probably going to be your major hurdle as far as money and expenses are concerned. I'm a college student living off campus and I burn through approximately $2200 a month on seemingly nothing.

I bought 3 tanks in 4 months. Alost 2k in here, and I dont even have a monster tank.

Wait till the bills become due...
Rent
Utilities
car payment/upkeep
gas
insurance
then there are the non-esentials like
food
toilet paper
clothes/laundry
Dr. bills...

Make a point to get along with your family as best as you can. It won't get any easier.
Maybe disapear to your local college and study hard for a degree so you can afford those things that life will cost you...

Once you undertstand how much effort it takes to squeek out a living, you'll understand why the folks might not be in the best of moods at times...

If you do get a job, still go to school, and save your money, or help the "P's" out with expenses. You'd be suprized how great you'll get along when everybody is on the same page...Good Luck lil' Brother, it ain't easy...

this hobby is the least of my bills.... i buy my foods in bulk so i save money there i dont buy fish if i dont have fish money.... bills come first....
