hob 4 wet/dry?

cant remember if i was dreaming or not.
was there a link or someone talking about making a hob filter the overflow for a wet dry?

Not sure how you would really do that, without heavy modification. Are you thinking of HOB overflows? HOB overflow

If you are thinking of trying to use a hob powerfilter, you will have to modify the filters intake completely. You cannot use the power filter to pull water from the tank, because under those circumstances you would have to match how much water the filter pulls from the tank, and how much water the pump in the W/D would return, and they would have to be perfect. Otherwise, your w/d will run dry, or your tank will overflow.

true, it is more work than it is worth. It is better to keep the hob as an emergency piece of equipment. DIY overflows are cheap and box type overflows are pretty cheap too if purchased from the right place.

There was a thread on making these modified HOB overflows. But, I posted the 2 600gph and 1200 gph overflows I bought for $5-$10 on ebay and the thread died.
