Well one of my small HOB filters smashed. Only the electrical part is left, the part with the motor which draws water. What can I do with it? Is it submergeable? I'm either going to use it as a surrogate powerhead for my soon-to-be marine tank or use it to make a waterfall for my terrarium...what elle can I do?

I would just toss it. I don't think that the pump portion of those are meant to be submersed. But out of curiosity, what kind of HOB filter is it?
