HOB filters that have 600-800 GPH???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
AC110 is 500 gph, that's the highest I know about. I use two on my 75 gal.

You do know that you are allowed to have more than one filter on a tank? Redundancy is better. Same with heaters. better two smaller ones than one big one.

I'll agree with that. If one fails, one is still going.

I know, ill prolly get 2 AC 110's, because I have a 135g, with a aquaclear 30-60, and a penguin 350,

I have 3 heaters in the tank also

How many will I need?? im thinking just 2 of the AC 110's will do. And im gonna remove the old filters

My 125 currently has 2 AC110's, 2 AC70's, 2 Rena XP2's, and an old Fluval 304
I'm a tad bit redundant I think. Oh, and 2 Stealth heaters.
My 75 has 2 Emp. 400's, and the 29 has 2 AC70's as well.
Too much filtration ?? What's that mean, never heard of it.

I thought Rallysman and I were kings of overfiltration, you took the cake. LOL

:D :D The 110's are new and cycling in. The 70's will be retired to back up status once the 110's are good to go.
The old fluval is for starting new tanks quick if needed.
BUT........ as soon as I get a bit, and lots of nerve, I'm drilling the back for a W/D I've for a year and 1000gph pump. :screwy: :screwy:
Having trouble finding that much nerve, and can't bring myself to trust HOB overflows, I've tried.:grinno: :grinno:

Oh, and far as the cake thing, I like pie.  ;) ;)
