This may sound stupid, but my brain isnt functioning properly ATM.

So heres the deal, I got a great deal on a CPR Aquatic CS150 Overflow. (http://www.cpraquatic.com/products/overflows.html).

Thing is rated for 1600 GPH, I dont need that much. My question is if I reduced the 1 1/2 " Bulkhead down to a 1" hose could that effectivly reduce the GOH of the Overflow?

The CS150 is an overflow not a syphon, your return pump adjusts your flow rate. Same with DIY overflows.
(Ppssst...what's a great deal???)

Ok I was just making sure.

great deal was that a friend of mine, had bought two after I convinced him to put a W/D on his 220 (an take 2 of the 3 canisters off). when I saw he bought two I talked him into selling me one for 60.00, That kinda eased the tension between him an his wife since he had spent like a grand that day on things.

If my wife knew I spent a grand in one day (and not on her) 60 bucks wouldn't smooth anything over...

But nice save anyway...
