Has anyone tryed plants from hobby lobby in there tanks. Ive been wanting to get a big fake fern for my tank just dont wana spend all that money is it wont work and dont wana kill my fish. Yesterday i seen some fry hiding in some rocks in my tank so im probly gona go buy the fern if it will work so they can hide in it. The fern should look super nice in my tank anyways

We've used them in our tanks and they've been fine. Just make sure there isn't any exposed metal (wires, etc.) that will rust in the water.
but $20 beats going to the lfs and paying $20 for a 3 pack of the same old plant looking things everyone has....
i used concrete to hold it under water you just use like a 20 oz bottle cut down use bottom of the bottle as your form

Check out Michael's too, if there's any in your area. They usually have some decent sales on plastic plants.
But I will tell you don't use cloth ones they look real good at first but after a while they take a beating and show it... Just my experience

I used plants from hobby lobby in my build and they look great. Look on last page in my build in my sig and theres a short video you can see the plants in the tank.
