any one have experience with these guys. i want to know how aggressive they are on a scale from one to ten. one being the most peaceful and ten killer death machines.

I really like my hoevens wrasse (halichoeres melanurus). I would say its a 2 or 3 in terms of aggressiveness just because of feeding time. It will bump fish out of the way to get food but it is very peaceful otherwise. It is definitely an aggressive eater though. It has never showed any signs of aggression towards my blenny, tang, clowns or PJ cardinals.

Mine also has left my 3 peppermint shrimp and all of my feather dusters alone completely, both big and small. I had alot of flat worms and it single-handedly took care of all of them. It has occasionally flipped over snails but never killed or ate them.

I have nothing but good things to say about mine. Its extremely active and always out looking for food. Its also not shy in the least bit. Here is a quick pic of mine.

My brother (thisissimple of this website) also has one.

Thing has a nasty set of teeth, but to my knowledge hasnt caused any issues as of yet.

You shouldn't have any problems here. Very different body shapes and they employ different niches in the aquarium.
