Has anyone adapted the Hofer Gurgle Buster construction for use on a 1 1/4" bulkhead? I'm trying to set one up but i'm not sure how to apply it to my 1 1/4" bulkhead.

Just replace everywhere it says 1" with 1 1/4" and everywhere it says 1 1/2" with 2" and you'll be fine.
I did one a few yrs back but cant remember the exact instructions. Im pretty sure

I instructed you to build a gurgle buster which I did myself and worked great. I think what you did was cut your upright tubes in your overflow box on a 30-45 degree angle which cut down on the noise. What I did in the end was used my over flow box for extra mechanical with Polly fill which worked great if you changed everyday.

said tho just bump your sizes up accrdingly and you will be good. I found the gurgle buster cut my flow down a bit that's the only bad thing I have to say about it
