I've jst noticed that my coral red may be holding. This is 1st time I've had cichlids. I'm not sure if I jst leave her in main tank or transfer her to another tank on her own. Advice pls

The usual procedure if you want to save the fry is to move the mom to a cycled tank alone and then after she spits the fry you can move her back to the main tank within 24-48 hours.

Do you know how long she has been holding or who she spawned with?

I don't know who with or how long I check em everyday but jst noticed the lump under her mouth today. They are all young fish jst coming into maturoty and know I deff have 2 coral red males so could be either. Is there a min size tank I'd need her in alone as have a small tank already cycled and running but it's only about 30 litres

30 litres is less than 8 gallons so may be a bit on the small size unless it is a long tank.

Since it is her 1st time you could always let her remain in the main tank if there is a lot of rocks for her to hide in. Can you post a pic of your tank?

You've got a really nice tank! Great pic too! How about some close ups of the fish :) Whatcha gonna feed the fry? Time to learn how to hatch baby brine shrimp?

What is a coral red exactly? I know there is a line of saulosi that go by that name. If you arent sure who the parents are, I would just let here spit in the tank.
