hole in da head

have you ever heard about a clown loach with hole in the head?
i have one about 4" that i havent seen for 2 weeks until today. now he appeard with a big hole on his head and missing skin around the mouth.
any suggestions?

It's unheard of. Do you have pics? What are your water parameters?

I am sure it's possible, but I have never heard of a case. It typically develops slowly in cichlids. Pics would be helpful.

I will try to take some pic'. could it be omycetes? {achyla or saprolengia}?
