So my wife thought that since i know more then most, she would pick up a small JK flowerhorn from NY Chinatown for me.. The only thing is this guy has a big hole in his stomach!! I think im pretty set on the course of treatment im going to take but i was wondering if you guys had any suggestions.. From the base of the pelvic fins back to his anal fisns there is a gap, from which you can see up inside his body. I think it was damage due to fighting no indication of worms or parasites, but i will be treating for thm just in case. He has no loss of appetite at all he stuffs a billion pellets into his fat little head like 3 times a day and the rest of his stomach is fat.. He can still produce waste, The fecal matter coming from up inside the hole.. Any suggestions on what i should do.. I was thinking about using a Dewormer such as prazi pro and doing a general treatment for body damage.. other then that im open to suggestions
Also since he is a Jin Kanh his body is orange and red, plus he is still fading. so it is almost impossible to know if there is and hemoraging and the such.. I think he will be ok he attacks this little catfish in the tank and sims around normally..
