Hello all, A quick question. Which is the best cure for hole in the head for an Oscar, note that my tank and filtration and water quality has improved since it started so its just a case of getting rid of it
yeah, good water quality which can be difficult to do since oscars are for lack of a better way to put it...sloppy messy fish. im talking good filtration and keeping up on water changes. not just doing the bare minimum
I have used metro pro and it was the only stuff that seemed to "temporary" keep the erosion from continuing. But you have to take breaks in between treatments and the healing scabs would just become inflamed and raw again during that time. It is a tough thing to get rid og and takes a lot of time and effort. The best chance of you getting rid of it is have the oscar by his self in a min of a 55 gallon and use metro pro and do around 50 percent water changes every day. Best of luck...
The tank is a 125g 5ft tank with Fluval 205, eheim classic 2013, fluval 4plus and getting FX5 this weekend hopefully, i have 1 oscar 9 inches, 1 blue acara 6 inches and 2 plecos 8 inches
