I installed an ro filter, and have noticed that it was blowing of the ball valve for the 1/4 line so I used a ball valve for a 1/2 line. While it didn't blow that off its still leaking through a bit. I guess I will install a second ball valve in front of the first.

Hello; If you are feeding the setup with tap water it is possible to have very high water pressure. I had to put a pressure reduction valve on my houshold water supply line as the pressure was over 200 PSI. If you do not have control of the incoming water supply line it may be possible to reduce the water pressure with a reduction valve sold in the RV portion of a store. These RV valves are for attaching to supply lines at campsites to keep the pressure down in the RV's plumbing. They have standard sized hose fittings.

Pressure regulator, you need one. It's threaded and hooks right up to the hose style adapter. I need one too.

Thats a lot of pressure. You should look into dropping that pressure before it gets to your house. House pressure fluctuate throughout the day. At night they get a lot higher even. Home pressure regulators are sold in home improvement stores and not to difficult yo install. Well you have to solder them in line so maybe difficult to some but will save you thousands in future water damage. Normal water pressure should be at 75psi.
