what are these things? i just scrubbed the sides of my rt tank and a butt load of these little white things like a half inch long and thinner than a hair started wiggling around my tank. i thought they were just junk floating around till i looked closer. they have tails that wiggle like sperm and heads that stay still. i'm lost. please help quick.

Planaria maybe. They are nothing. They dont hurt the fish or make them sick.Just makes it look dirty.I got rid of it by cycling a tank for a month. Then doing a 100% water change and new grave and media.Caused by overfeeding i belive.

what do planeria do? like what do they feed on? what is their purpose? what do they do from fish? is there anything else they can be?

would it have anything to do with feeding chunk fish? could it be something coming out of that?

acquired generally by overfeeding &/or not removing excess foods.

If I remember correctly they come out of the rocks (if there) when the food in the rocks gets scarce.

When I had them, my fishies ate them.
