Home bred warmouth?

Hello,

I've heard that warmouth initially started as a hybrid of bluegill and some type of bass.

Could I cross breed these two fish to make my own warmouth at home?

I think war mouth is its own kind of sunfish as is the bluegill and bass so if u did manage to get fertile eggs u would have so kind of hybrid and I doubt it will b a war mouth

Its a myth. Warmouth is its own species. I would be interested in seeing the hybrid if you try it. If you have never attempted an artificial hybrid, attempt different combos with the gender. Female x with Male y will have a different result than having Male x with Female y
