Hi guys,

Found this in the amphibian/reptile section of the pet shop.

Front and back view

Apparently it's good for fish too, accordingly to the Japanese instructions. Cost about US$3 each and are also available in other sizes.

I like the natural look and feel. Do look out for them in the reptile section if you are looking for an alternative to the terracotta pots. And they look neat too with plants tied on top of them.

Cheers,

hey benny, they do look nice, I see all kinds of stuff like this in the reptile section, but it never says anything about being water safe. What is it made of? Plastic, or is it rock?

Seems like some kind of molded resin or fibreglass. Doesn't exactly says what it is, but it's also stated that the "natural like" color will fade with prolonged usage.

I just like the look of it and think that it's might be useful for my photo tank as well. It's quite hard to find rock caves.

Cheers,
