Hey guys was just wondering what you would call this guy, I raised him from a batch of fry from a female Parrot and a male Trimac and am amazed at how he has turned out, still dont understand how he got all the pearls but he was the only pearly fry out of a few hundred, the rest came out pretty ugly. he looks like he got mostly Synspillum traits(from the mothers side) and I know he will prob never develope a KOK at this point, but i am thinking about trying to breed him back to the mother, he is about 7" already.The last 2 pics are the mother and the father. What do you all think.

This is a contradicting term, But its an old school Kamfa. This guy picked up some good traits.

The mother is very nice. I dont know if he will be fertile, but there is a good chance he is. A cross back to the mother would bring out more reds and potentially a bigger hump. Id guess something like the early stages of a super red synspillus.

was the only thing i could find for a background with loys of color for my FH, I like to be creative.

well i wouldent call two cichlid hybrid a flowerhorn yet. but its a start.
id just say its a parrot x trimac

No the parrot was in that tank to breed with this guy, and yes, he is quite fond of Lightning McQueen.LOL He is usually way brighter red and his head is usually much bigger too, but they have fry in the tank in that pic and he was very stressed protecting the fry.
