I picked up 2 small 85g/h pumps off kijiji for $10 ea, decided i wanted to make my own filter for one of them. This is what i came up with.
2 stages, about 250ml per stage.
Stage 1 consists of filter foam for mechanical filtration,
Stage 2 will consist of media for BB.
All lines are 1/4" at the 85gh rating i would say this should do nicely on 20 gallons or so.
I may do a single 3rd canister for the 2nd pump as just mechanical.
What do you guys think?
