Cant wait to Hear a few :D

I usually use 1lb shrimp, peas, broccoli, kelp, spirulina, vitamin suppliment, and then knox gelatin powder. The knox makes everything the consistency of jello- easy to handle, defrost and feed. You should try it.

Here are my gel food recipes for snails and goldfish.

Snail Jello
Ingredients
1 can of 4 oz baby food (any flavor from carrots, squash, mixed vegetables)
2-3 calcium tablets (Tums/Caltrate)
4 sachets of Knox gelatin
1 teaspoon of honey
1/2 cup of pellets (optional)

Instructions
Pound the calcium tablets into powder form. You can use mortar and pestle to do that job. Try mixing the baby foods with other ingredients including the calcium tablets.

Boil a half pot of water and pour Knox all over. Keep stirring and wait for it to cool down until it becomes a bit homogenous. Combine the gelatin with the mixed ingredients. Place the recipe in the tray and make sure gel food is at least 1/2 inch to an inch thick to make it easier to divide the food for the snails. Place in microwave oven at medium high for at least a minute. Remove from microwave oven and wait for it to cool down. Refrigerate afterwards.

I did not mix any other ingredients as I was rushing around so this is especially good if you are in a hurry.

Goldfish Gel Food
Ingredients
1 can of baby food
2-3 calcium tablets
1 acidophilus tablet
1 multivitamins tablet
4-5 sachets of Knox
1 can of sardines/mackerel/tuna
1/2 cup of pellets

Instructions
Pound the tablets into powder form. You can use mortar and pestle to do that job. Mix all ingredients together (except the Knox gelatin). You may use a blender to do the job.

Note:
1. For canned sardines/mackerel/tuna, please get the cans that do not have tomato sauce, mustard sauce or any other preservatives added. If you cannot find one without preservatives, you will have to wash the fish thoroughly to get the sauce out. Use gentle running water only to avoid turning it into a mess.

2. If you are using blender, chances are the food becomes saturated with air bubbles as well. Try to remove the air bubbles by tapping the tray slightly after being prepared.

My home made recipe consists of taking 2 3'' convicts and placing them in a 20g tank. Then wait a few weeks or more and remove all the fry after they are free swimming for one week. i do this so the cons will start the process over again alot sooner.

I then place the con fry in a 10g tank and power feed them crushed flake for 2 weeks and then switch to live brine shrimp and tank algae. Do this for 1 month and then feed your fish the 1-1.5'' cons

Well they are made at my home.

Wow ty soo much for all that...
fry convicts lol thoughs lil guys go for 8$ for 1.5" lol
crazy!!
I will have to buy some groceries tommorrow and start making some food :D'
Thank you again ^^
