Aww, I thought you used a vieja synspilum female. The frys have so much synspilum coloring to me. 
I hope that these guys turn out. when they reach the 2 inch mark I will decide if I'am going to keep them or cull them all.
on that note if they turn out the way I like to see them. I will try and breed them again. when they first breeded there was over 300+ fry but the dad was eating them slowly. and by the time I noticed it he had most eatin. that's why there are only about 35 to 40 left.
BTW this morning I noticed that a few of them looked like they are starting to show signs of going to fade. will post most update later this week

Oh boy, this is why you always take out the father and leave the mother. Somehow, being a father for a flowerhorn is just the worst parent in the fish world. They're like a mother guppy!
this is a update of my kamfa's the video is about 2 weeks old. I recently move some to there own tank for grow out. hope to have pics later this week. they are in a 80 gal tank when the video was taken
