here a few pictures i promised to put on with my sump that i built. kinda hard and kinda easy the water is cycling in and out of the tank nicly . i ran my old hang on filters for a few days to allow bac. to grow on the bio balls. its running great i wish i would have done this in the first place........... thanks alot guys and girls

glad to see im not the only person who is messy with pvc cement! nice sump btw!
 
I dont get it. Where is the water draining from? Any shots of the enitre system?
 
holdn on!!!!!! in the third picture down is that all flake food stuck to your sponge pre filter on your overflow? if so o boy
 
you should put a control vaule for the intake side. so that you can adjust the water intake when feeding... maybe?
 
What I do to control the food going down the overflow is submerge the food. I take a pinch of flake, and then hold it under the water. Since the food is not on the surface, little of it is actually skimmed.

I like the sump btw. I really need to finish mine.
 
could you tell us more about it?
what size tank is it on?
What did you use to make the sum out of? (old tank, acrylic sheets, looks like an old tank)
And if you don't mind me asking what about do you have wraped up in this money wise?
