So im at my local LFS, and they come to me and ask me what kinda fish this is the owners are away and there daughter is holding down the fort i guess.She didnt kno what it was, he/she is about 6-8 inches and someone brought in in on a trade cause it ate every fish in there tank. I've always wanted one but here in delaware its very hard to get different types of fish. Now ive seen them with jags or african cichlids. But is it possible to keep it healthy at the lower ph needed for a jag, my jag is a bit bigger and would love to have it with him. She said its in a 6.6-6.8 quarteen tank atm. Im going to guess the peeps that brought it in had no idea what to do with it. I have room to house him and for free its kinda hard for me to pass it up. Just want to be sure i can pull it off with my water conditions. Ive researched the fish in the past but i also see and have seen them with other things outside there ph lvls.

yeah that ph is fine. I kept a female jag and now currently a parrot with my butti who is around 10.5" or so in a 106
