I was thinking about making some rocks and maybe some other decorations out of clay for my tanks. I know if you bake them long enough in the oven it works just like a kiln. I have read before that it is not a good idea to use glaze on thing that you put into a tank, but i don't know if this is true. If i don't glaze them and put them in without a sealer will they fall apart or make my water really dirty? or is there a glaze or sealer out there that is safe for use in the tanks?
Also i see alot of people using store bought pots in their tanks. Is there any specific type that is ok for aquariums or are they all ok?
And lastly, would the old style clay pipes be ok in an aquarium to use as cave? I would buy them new of course, i wouldn't go dig them out of the ground or anything lol.
