Homemade fish tank

what would you guys recommend about making a fish tank homemade? Like a huge 300 gallon? Would it be cheaper to make it rather than buying a already built one? Give me some ideas! Thanks

This should be asked in the DIY Section, but you will most likely be better off finding a used tank.
