Has anyone here ever fabricated a spray bar for a Fluval 404? I don't think any are manufactured, but i'd like one for my 75 gal. The new Fluval is being added to two existing Emperor 400s. I want more filtration and water movement, hence the Fluval. The spray bar is not really a must, but I like to tinker with s**t too much to let it go. I imagine it would be relatively simple. I'm just looking for pointers on materials and rigging.

Those will work with the 404's as far as I know. You can make them out of pvc very easily.

anyone made one for an FX5?...I would love to get away from the current stock nozzles that come with them and put some spray bars that run the length of my tank.

I was just looking at mine today and wanted the same thing. Mine Keeps shacking alot. and i dont like it lol. I would make some thing out of pvc but all i have is this orange stuff... no black anymore :(

This brings up a crazy idea...I wonder if I could rig one XP3 to one side and my other XP3 to the other side and run a 6-7ft spray bar across the back of my 240...you think the currents from each one coming into the same spray bar would cause trouble or just cause increased exit pressure of the water from the spray bar?
