I have to admit that there is so much more that you can do with acyrlic as opposed to glass. The big whale shark exhibit in Georgia has a bonded acyrlic window that is over 2 ' thick - very amazing! The combination of live coral with artificial coral tank that we did curves over your head! Try that with glass.
