Ok. woke up this morning to my 6 rbp 4-6" and almost 40% of all fins were gone, but one whos the biggest and i.m.o the bully was 100% fine. So i took him out immediatly and gave him to a buddy, i just got a xp4 today and while hooking it up i still notice their trying to bite eachother, and its ALL of them! 2 of them are smaller about 3 1/2 to 4" and im just worried waking up to dead ones tomorrow. They are in a 90gal with aquaclear110 and xp4, 3 bubblers and temp is 77° i feed them pellets mostly but tilapia once every few days. Before the 90 they were all in a 55 and no trouble, its been over a week in the 90.

PLEASR HELP! IVE TRIED NETTING, SCARING MORE FOOD AND NOTHING

Sounds like they are starting the roster order all over again. Good Luck.

Damn hoe long does it take appx?

Was getting rid of the other one a bad idea?

you took the big boss out so they are trying to fight to be the next boss

Might not be a bad thing. Big Bosses sometimes get gang banged lmao:ROFL:.

After there is a pecking order, I would reintroduce the old big boss to the new pack hoe:grinno:.

Yes i realize this, but my little one was a centimeter from a flesh wound and it needed action, i netted him and let him freak out safely, only worked for a little. I wont let my little guy die and i think having 5 in a 90 is better then 6, 15gal/fish to 18gal/fish and it helped fetch me the xp4 which is fantastic, sort of reminds me of a pool filter.

Anyways any advice is needed.

Just wait it out?

Add stress coat?

Any ideas?

6 rbp

Well this may or may not help but when my buddies piranhas start fighting we will put about 40 feeder fish, this gives the piranhas something to vent there anger out on instead of eachother, we dont feed the feeders all the time just about once a month or so as a treat, this has helped with his piranhas which where not supposed to be the shoaling kind in the first kind, they just grouped up! we feed the feeders because they swim around distracting the others from biting the others, hopefully this helps a little!!!!

yeah i fed em feeders once a week if their lucky, mostly pellets and fresh talapia. theyve gotten better i turned the lite off, but still i hate seeing them battle. one day at a time i guess! thanks guys and more tips or suggestions would be great!

No worries guys. My tank had stray current from my shi* marineland circulator, it actually zapped my finger! Once i unplugged the rbp went back to normal and its awesome. Too bad everythings made in china.

I did a 50% water change with stresscoat, hopefully they heal asap!

Thanks to all for ur advice!
