Homicidal Red Faced Macs 1.1

For whatever reason my Red Faced Macs, that have cohabitated peacefully for over a year, have decided it's time to kill each other.
I bought all 12 unsexed a year ago. In the last month I have gone from 6 males and 6 females to 4 males and 5 females. Three of the females are in a separate tank temporarily recovering from getting beat up and chewed on.
I'm thinking I have too many males. Should I offer them to the LFS ?

ya...too many males, put 1 male with all the females, and possibly mix them with other mbuna, so the aggression is spread around...and i'm sure a lfs would want them, they are good looking fish.

My group did the same thing... I lost most of them before realizing it. The trouble of tons of mbuna in a big tank... gl!!!!
