Archocentrus sp. - Local fish store (ThatFish Place) just got these in.
They listed'em at the store as "Rare Honduran Red Fin".
I saw pics on google of adults they're pretty colorful nice finnage.
Anybody own one? Is their agression as high as a true convict? Should they be keeped singularly or in packs? Are they really that rare? Also I have a few spare 30 gallon tanks will a few of them live in a 30? (I'm not scared to stack the deck - daily Maint.)
Opinions and suggestions welcomed please..... that i'd ask before purchasing this time - trial by fire.

they aren't nearly as aggressive as normal convicts but when spawning they will still defend their fry. they don't get as large as normal convicts nor are their spawns as large. they are a beautiful fish though and well worth keeping.
