Hi and thanks in advance!
I have a 90 gallon tank running with a fluval fx6, tank has 2 blood parrots and 10 tiger barbs but i was wondering if is possible to add 6 Honduran red point in the tank and also i read somewhere that HRP might breed with BP not a good idea in my opinion.

HRP's are basically just blue convicts, and will probably breed with a wide variety of cichlids. I think with 6 in the tank, it's much more likely that the HRP's will just breed amongst themselves than with the parrots. To me, 6 HRP's with two BP's and 10 barbs sounds like a lot for a 4' tank- 2 HRP's would be better in my opinion

Convict types will breed with anything given the opportunity, as will most male cichlids.

I had 3 breeding pairs in a 150g community tank. The pairs weren't overly aggressive like convicts thankfully. They did a really good job raising fry too. I didn't have any issues.
HRP should be fine.
