Are they aggressive? all cichlids are aggressive

If so how aggressive? not very aggressive can be housed with bigger tetras and barbs not sure when breeding, i have mine with rainbow cichlids, sajica, thorichthys ellioti, pictus cat and other "community"fish like kerri danios and redline torpedo barb

are they sexually dimorphic? yes, not that easy males have extended fins

thank you very much guys, about how much do these run for in an lfs, I am guessing 8 or so dollars but I dunno.

at my LFS they are $5. but wild caught might cost more.

rapps arnt wild caught but you know they would be close and top quality-look at his pic of his female http://www.tangledupincichlids.com/images/honrp.jpg. i have some from a lfs and they arnt amazing but still nice i would check what quality and is good get them from there or get them from rapps also look out for hybrids also rapps are 100%not hybrids iam getting about 6 from him soon

they are nice fish and not very agro at all.

i got mine from NE Cichlids he packed them very well and had no shipping problems.

I want to put them with my bolivian rams in my 29, as they (rams) killed off my last young discus I had in there, so they are a bit more aggressive than the german ones I think. I really want to breed them. I have 9 tanks now and I just set up 2 10 gallons with sponge filters I made and some flowerpots and driftwood in hopes of breeding the bolivian rams and HOPEFULLY these redpoints.

If all else fails I will just temporarily put some cons in one of the 10s and put them back in the 75 when I am sure the eggs are fertilized.
