I'm Just curious, living in the heart of holey limestone country, Central Texas, how much does this stuff go for across the state? I'm not looking to sell any, just curious. Maybe in the distant future I'll fund a road trip with it, though...

On Ebay, it averages around $4 a pound.

Sorry, I meant across the country. The really good stuff retails around here for $1.29/lb. But, if you know where to look...

10-14 cents a pound  Wow what type of honeycomb? pic's or formation type discriptions like solid stone or large & w/ "many holes"? Size avg. would be cool also like 12"Lx2"wx10"H
Do we get to collect it ourselfs???? That would be cooooool. :headbang2

Thanks :) :) :)

Ours goes for $4 a pound too.

its at my local landscape/pond store, you have to hand pick it. so you have to find a stick or something to dig the dirt out of the holes to see the full "holey-ness"

I just picked up about 100lbs of red flag stone for about $15 for my bearded dragon habitat.

oh and it is good stuff, full of deep interconnecting holes, if you look hard for good pieces.

I also used some for base rock in my reef, you can see a large piece in the botom left corner.
