Hi mfk just working on a project of mine. I have a 6ft tank with no hood soon to have one thats why i'm asking a few questions. I'm thinking of putting a filter system in a hood. it's going to be like a gutter filter but a bit bigger. it's going to hold around 50LTR and pump around 2000LTR per hour. it's a easy set up as far as one pump up and free flow down. now my problem. i'm wondering if i put a extra 60+kg on the glass were the hood sits on will this hurt the glass or put it under stress. My other idea is making brakets up to sit on the mid glass supports but then i have the same problem will the glass hold up to the weight? my glass is 12.5 mm or 1/2 in. If you don't understand i'll put a pic up on what i'm doing. any ideas??????????? cheers.
